Sponsorship Packages
If you would like access to thousands of the country's best and brightest, then sponsorship at the Union is for you.
The Cambridge Union Society is one of the oldest and most prestigious student societies in the world.
Founded in 1815, the Union has been the centre of political debate and discussion within the University, providing Cambridge students - many of whom have progressed to become world leaders in their field - with an arena to sharpen their skills.
The Cambridge Union is famous for its ability to attract speakers of international stature from the worlds of politics, business, entertainment, science, the media and beyond. Our historic building, in the heart of Cambridge, also provides the focus for University-wide social events and entertainments. With a resident membership of over 7000, the Union is the centre of student life in Cambridge. Our membership is notably diverse, consisting of students both undergraduate and graduate from every faculty, every college and every background in the University.
World-famous speakers
In the last year the Union has welcomed high profile speakers including former Prime Minister Sir John Major, actor Sir Ian McKellen, and DNA discoverer Professor James Watson. Controversial figures such as Julian Assange have spoken to our packed chamber, and we have welcomed Justices of both the British and US Supreme Courts.
What you get
As a Cambridge Union sponsor, you will gain unrivalled access to a body of the most open-minded and curious students from across the University. In addition, our events receive wide publicity in the local and national media, meaning that the positive benefits of sponsoring a Union event reach out beyond Cambridge.
Sponsoring a Union event is the ideal way to raise awareness of your business and graduate recruitment opportunities. Allowing you to promote your company to a group of the brightest and most engaged students in the UK. Sponsoring a Union event will provide you with extensive and unique access to undergraduate and graduate students from across the university, studying every course, attending every college and with every hobby or interest.
Sponsorship could take the form of advertising in the Term Card, a booklet delivered to each resident member at the beginning of each term, or sponsoring a particular event. For event sponsorship, dozens of members of our publicity team ensure that posters and flyers are distributed widely throughout the faculties and colleges, as well as electronic updates via email, Facebook and Twitter. Thus, sponsorship reaches far beyond our 8500-strong mailing list of members and alumni. Most importantly, what we offer -whether banners, flyers, freebies, recruitment events, announcements and beyond - can be tailored to suit your requirements.
